Capacity building within the health workforce represents a pivotal strategy for enhancing tuberculosis (TB) care and its associated outcomes. The National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) health workforce faces the significant challenge of navigating a multitude of guidelines and algorithms on a daily basis, even with routine training. This underscores the necessity for digital-ready tools that can equip health professionals with accessible knowledge and improve their decision-making capabilities.

In response to this challenge, the Closing the Gaps in TB Care Cascade (CGC) Project has developed the “Ni-kshay SETU” App, meticulously designed to align with NTEP's technical and operational guidelines. This innovative application empowers the NTEP health workforce by facilitating informed decision-making, thereby ensuring quality treatment for TB patients throughout various care cascades. Additionally, the app serves as a resource for NTEP officials to identify knowledge gaps within the workforce.
